When we translate a particular book, brochure, or script, most of the following (and sometimes all of them) are present in the process:

Translation

Our team of professional translators relies on a solid knowledge of English and Russian languages as well as on many years of experience of translating Christian materials, whether fiction or textbooks. With idiom implementation and access to rich resources of language references, we make the translation read as if it were originally written in Russian.

Evaluation

We will gladly review any translated materials made by other translators and tell you whether it is ready for publication. We will offer helpful insights, establish whether the level of language used in translation is fit for targeted audience, make corrections if needed, and come up with the overall grade of the work.

Editing

Our team of editors lives by the "Rule of Four Pairs of Eyes" — from translated pages to complete book four people will read through the work in progress, ensuring that the product has utmost quality and is true to its source.

Correction

Utilizing both human recognition and computer technology, spell checks and grammar checks, as well as syntax and sentence checking, we rid the final product of such bugs as overlooked type-o's and misspellings, guaranteeing pleasant reading experience.

Proofreading

This is part of both Evaluation and Editing processes, ensuring the quality of the final product.

Theological Contextualization

As you may already know, there are details in the Bible particular to every version published, and Russian Synodal Version (the standard since 1876) has its share of peculiarities in both spelling and word choice, and chapter and book numbering and listing. We make sure  the translated work quotes and refers to the Russian Bible using Russian theological words and phrases.

Publishing and Co-Publishing

If your manuscript has never been published as a separate title, we can help with the process in full or in part, allowing for various fonts, sizes, layouts, etc..

Artwork

Stock or custom graphics, charts, illustrations in all formats can be created, modified, adapted, translated, converted, colorized, de-colorized, sized, cropped, and otherwise processed to make sure they fit where they belong and cause no output errors during the production process.

1200 dpi output

Already a standart in Camera-Ready-Copy output, it is required to make good quality film for offset and web printing of your materials. (Please read the following section as well).

Acrobat PDF files

As alternative to CRC on paper, these computer files are used to output film directly from them, achieving higher quality and bypassing the whole camera-shooting process; also used in Direct-To-Plate printing. You may request your translation to be either on paper CRC or as Acrobat PDF files, or both.

Print Brokering

With access to variety of printing companies, we can offer you a complete printing solution just for your type of project. We work with offset, web, and digital printers.

Distributing

If your materials require distribution in Russia, our network of affiliates will be just the thing for you. In addition, we specialize in distributing Russian Christian materials in the West (USA, Canada, Germany, Australia) in the countries with large Russian immigrant population.
